# Hydra Engine > One headless Ghidra that every AI agent shares: a long-lived daemon that holds projects, analysed programs and warm decompilers, used by many clients at once (Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, QoderCLI, MCP servers, scripts). Warm decompiles take about 7 ms. Apache-2.0, derived from NSA's Ghidra (12.3 DEV). It works best with Hydralysis (https://github.com/RusticStack/Hydralysis), the MCP server and CLI with twenty reverse-engineering tools that runs on it. Set up both by asking an AI harness: "Set up Hydralysis and Hydra Engine from github.com/RusticStack/Hydralysis." - Source: https://github.com/RusticStack/hydra-engine - Releases (Windows x64 zips, checksummed): https://github.com/RusticStack/hydra-engine/releases - Current release: 12.3-hydra.2 ## Getting Started - [Quick Start](https://www.hydrare.dev/docs/quick-start): One Ghidra. Many heads. One shared daemon for every client. - [Installation](https://www.hydrare.dev/docs/installation): Download a release, or build the install yourself. - [Architecture](https://www.hydrare.dev/docs/architecture): One body, many heads. - [Core Concepts](https://www.hydrare.dev/docs/core-concepts): Which project, which program, and who may change it. ## Usage - [CLI](https://www.hydrare.dev/docs/cli): One Python file: launcher, daemon manager and client. - [MCP Server](https://www.hydrare.dev/docs/mcp-server): Hydralysis: twenty reverse-engineering tools. One CLI. One MCP server. - [Clients](https://www.hydrare.dev/docs/clients): Every head names itself, and leaves cleanly. - [Projects](https://www.hydrare.dev/docs/projects): Open in place, import once, write without stepping on anyone. - [Scheduling](https://www.hydrare.dev/docs/scheduling): Interactive work stays snappy while long jobs keep moving. - [Evidence Ledger](https://www.hydrare.dev/docs/evidence-ledger): Every change has an author, and every answer has a source. - [Recipes](https://www.hydrare.dev/docs/recipes): Short, complete snippets for what agents and tools do all day. ## Reference - [API Reference](https://www.hydrare.dev/docs/api-reference): Protocol version 2: JSON lines over loopback. - [Configuration](https://www.hydrare.dev/docs/configuration): Sensible defaults, and the settings for when they don't fit. ## Optional - [Full docs as one file](https://www.hydrare.dev/llms-full.txt) - [Changelog](https://www.hydrare.dev/changelog) - [Showcase](https://www.hydrare.dev/examples)
